CORPORATE EXERCISES (as at March 2006)

  • The increase in authorized share capital of PPB from RM100,000,000 comprising 200,000,000 PPB Shares to RM500,000,000 comprising 1,000,000,000 PPB Shares was completed in October 2005
     

  • The Bonus Issue of 67,650,000 new Petra Perdana Bhd (“PPB”) Shares of RM0.50 each in PPB on the basis of one (1) new PPB Share (Bonus Share) for every two (2) existing was completed in November 2005
     

  • The acquisition of a new company, Portfolio Hitech Sdn Bhd, was completed in December 2005
     

  • The Foreign Investment Committee approved the Company’s proposal for an internal reorganization of four subsidiary companies namely Portfolio Hitech Sdn Bhd, Petra Resources Sdn Bhd, Petra Fabricators Sdn Bhd and Petra Resources (S) Pte Ltd. in February 2006
     

  • The Securities Commission approved the issuance of RM400 million Nominal Value Secured Serial Bonds in January 2006. The exercise was completed in March 2006
     

  • The Securities Commission approved the issuance of RM400 million Nominal Value Medium Term Notes Programme in January 2006. The initial issuance is expected to take place two years from the date of approval.
