Dato' Kho Poh Eng, a Malaysian aged 51, was appointed as Executive Director of Petra Perdana Berhad (“Petra Perdana”) on 5th February 2010. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Dalhousie, Nova Scotia, Halifax Canada.

Dato' Kho started his career with a private limited company involved in crude oil and petroleum products in 1981 and left in September 1983 to join F.E. Zuellig (M)Sdn Bhd as its Branch Manager responsible for business development in East Malaysia. In August 1987, he was appointed a Director of Damai Teknik Sdn Bhd where he started the business of providing maintenance and engineering services for the upstream oil and gas industry in the country. Prior to joining Petra Perdana as Senior General Manager in 2000, he was attached to Petra Resources Sdn Bhd where he held the position of Business Development Manager from 1988 to 2000.

Dato' Kho has initiated and managed the listing exercise of Petra Energy Berhad and Petra Perdana as well as the transfer of Petra Perdana¡¯s listing status from Second Board to Main Board of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange. He was significantly involved in various corporate exercise of the Petra Perdana Group, including acquisition of companies, vessels and integrated services for Brown Field Projects and was responsible for the setting up and management of various corporate service departments of Petra Perdana.

His brother, Koh Pho Wat is also an Executive Director of Petra Perdana.
