Koh Pho Wat, a Malaysian aged 49, was appointed an Executive Director of Petra Perdana Berhad (“Petra Perdana”) on 5th February 2010. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Industrial) from the Technical University of Nova Scotia, Halifax, Canada.

Koh Pho Wat, started his career with Sarawak Shell Berhad (“SSB”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Royal Dutch / Shell Group of Companies which is involved in the exploration and production of oil and gas. He spent 13 years with SSB and was involved in various areas of the upstream oil and gas industry including procurement, operations, logistics, project and materials management. He joined the Petra Perdana Group in 1996 and held positions in areas covering the sales of engineered equipment, project management, engineering and maintenance services, offshore marine and support services. He has been instrumental in the various key development milestones of the Petra Perdana Group and is one of the key members of the management team for the successful listing of Petra Perdana on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.

His brother, Dato' Kho Poh Eng is also an Executive Director of Petra Perdana.
